About Stephanie
Stephanie earned her Master's of Science in Counselor Education, through the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program from Florida International University. For several years, Stephanie worked as an Associate Therapist at Stop Parenting Alone, where she provided counseling services to individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents. Through her training and experience at Stop Parenting Alone, she specialized in child and adolescent development along with parenting concerns. Stephanie provided parenting support and tailored plan of actions to each family she worked with. She also worked as a Mental Health Consultant for schools, conducting classroom observations and recommendations for schools and teachers to best enhance the social emotional development of children in their classrooms.

Prior to Stop Parenting Alone, she worked at Family Counseling Services (FCS) and Switchboard of Miami, providing counseling services to individuals, children, and adolescents. She also co-facilitated groups for adolescents and parents with a focus on trauma. Stephanie was also trained in applied behavior analysis, and has worked with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
Stephanie found her passion in this field while in high school through her first introductory psychology class. It was throughout her high school and undergraduate years in the psychology program that she fostered her passion to learning about the human experience and thus helping people grow and reach their personal goals. Stephanie's belief that through building positive and long-lasting relationships with her clients along with her innate empathic nature, further facilitates her clients' growth and emotional wellness.
